Dear Jackie & Jon, You & so many others in this region have lost a loving, beautiful soul with Maryse's passing - sorry for your loss. She loved you dearly & appreciated all you did for her & Jack. Her struggle is now over, & they are again reunited.  I felt blessed by the times she & I were able to share; she was a true gift! Prayers & thoughts are with you. So sorry for your loss.  Thank you for sharing the photo at the book store.  I remember browsing around in there and your mom was always so friendly!  I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Your parents were so kind to us when we would visit their bookstore in Olean thirty years ago. My four little boys and I would frequently walk to their store, always taking along our dog. I tied the dog outside when we went in, but your parents would always insist that the dog come in too! They were so nice to our boys and our dog.
